Focus
Yasmin - Southend High Student:
Yasmin likes to read magazines but never tends to read music magazines as their isnt any for her that she is inclined to pick up. she thinks they are all "too punk and rocky" for herself to read. She loves to read look every week and more. yasmin said she loves reading a new magazine each week some more gossip in each week. She would read a music magazine if it was produced to her audience type. At the moment she can't find a magaizne she would like to read so when she does she would buy it!
Erin - Southend High Student
Erin doesn't very often read magazines, only monthly really. So she would love a music magazine produced monthly so she doesn't forget to buy it one week and miss out on some of the hot gossip. The people she would love to see on the front cover of the magazine is people like beyonce, britney spears, more female roles.
Josie - Southend High Student
Josie reads a magazine when its put in front of her, she never tends to go out and just buy magazines. If their was a music magazine suited for her she would go out and buy it. She loves her music but again she doesnt think their is one that fits her needs. She wants a more female targeted magazine so she could read it as she thinks the magazines at the moment are mainly focusing on punk, rock, and male audiences.

From my questionnaire i got a very good feedback.
1. the people they would love to see on the front cover, are more female artists as they can also relate themselves to them more. they would love to see people like beyonce, ciara, miley cyrus etc. so in my magazine i am going to try and focus this to the female audience so it will attract these people in.
2. the magazines the people i asked usually read, are things like look, now, cosmopolitan etc, so i am going to try and focus my magazine in these sorts of styles, with female models on the front and stories around, but then still using Q, NME and Vibe to guide me in making my magazine
3. YES! everyone would love some promotional offers included to make them more inclined to buy the magazine, so this was a definate add in to the magazine.
4. For this answer people varied their answers from all the options but most people went for 1.90-2.50 so this gives me an idea of how to price my own magazine.
5.the age group of most people was 15-18 which is easier to just target my audience to.
6.everyone said yes to this answer, if a music magazine was produced for their age group and audience they would read it.

Mood Board
This mood board just reflects on some of the people like to hear sing or just like to read about from asking in my questionnaire. This helps to produce my magazine as i can see it is mainly focused on the females and younger audience.
